Mon 9am-5pm Tues 9am-5pm Wed 9am-9pm Thurs 9am-9pm Fri 9am-5pm
Does it hurt?
There is a small level of discomfort associated with the laser treatment.  The sensation of the laser on the skin has been described as pin pricks or an elastic band being snapped against your skin.

What happens immediately after my treatment?
The area around the treatment may become red and puffy.  A cold compress may be applied to ease any swelling or discomfort.  Most people will return to their normal activities right away.

What happens in the days after my treatment?
For the next week or two the hair will begin to shed.  Shaving may be required to remove the excess treated hair.  You should avoid rubbing the area that has been treated.

Are there any potential problems?
Depending on how sensitive you skin is, you may experience some redness and puffiness for several days.
Pimples may form on the treated area, but they will dry up and disappear in a short period of time.  They should not be popped.
In rare cases you may experience hypopigmentation (lightening of skin) or hyperpigmentation (darkening of skin).  These conditions are temporary and the skin usually returns to its normal pigmentation in approximately 6 weeks.

How long does my hair have to be before it can be treated?
The area being treated is shaved before treatment begins. Therefore there is no minimum length.

How many appointments do I need?
Most clients require 4 to 8 treatments.  The interval between treatments is 4 to 8 weeks depending on individual hair growth.

Who is a candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
Almost everyone who has undesirable hair is a candidate.  If you have white, blonde or red body hair, you may not be a good candidate because of lack of pigmentation in the hair.  Contact us for more information.
